The end of furlough could leave upwards of 150,000 people unemployed through redundancy and almost a million people who have not yet returned to work are facing uncertainty about their future. Alongside this people are also experiencing the effect of the cuts to Universal Credit – the largest cut since World War 2, which could cause financial distress to nearly half a million people.
In this turbulent time, People Hub is here to help you navigate the storm, find your feet and get back into the world of work after an unexpected 18 months.
We’re able to provide you with the tools you need to get back into work if you have been made redundant following the end of furlough or overcome other barriers to employment you may be facing. We’ll set you up with one of our Connectors – who are there to understand your situation better and offer you information, advice, and guidance for your specific needs.
We understand that it can be hard to make the first step, but you can connect to us in a number of ways and we’ve had fantastic feedback from people we’ve worked with in the past:
“I have only just joined the program, and already I am very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend yourselves to anyone in my position. I know this is a brand new venture, but I wanted to give positive feedback on my experience. I have found it very informative.”
We work with organisations all over Cornwall, which means we have an extensive network that can assist you in finding your way.
“This course has honestly changed my life. For the first time in ages, I actually have hope for a positive and happier future. It has changed my outlook on life and how I move forward instead of being stuck in this hole that has controlled my life for the past 5 years.”
We have a range of courses and, with so much support available, we are able to cater to your specific needs.
